Analog Simulation of Optimization Operation Strategy of Modified Inverted A~2/O Process

Based on the commissioning of the modified inverted A2/O process in a wastewater treatment plant in Jiading District of Shanghai,its optimal operation mode and parameters under different treatment conditions were determined by analog simulation to achieve the aims of up-to-standard discharge,energy saving and consumption reduction.The simulation results show that the air supply can be reduced by 25% and the internal return can be canceled after optimizing the operation mode and parameters in summer.The sludge production and effluent NH+4-N concentration can be reduced by 17.8% and 2.3 mg/L respectively in winter after optimization.These results are useful for optimizing operation,energy saving and consumption reduction of the wastewater treatment plant.
