Grating detuning effect on holographic memory in photopolymers

We present a study of the grating detuning effect on the trans- mission and reflection holographic memories recorded in a photopolymer material. By using the Bragg matching condition, we analyze the angular shift and the degradation of the diffraction efficiency of the reconstructed images. Based on these results, a method for precompensating the de- tuning effect has been proposed. © 2001 Society of Photo-Optical Instrumentation
