Competition vs. Experience Sharing: A Case Study in an E-learning Feedback Environment

The study aimed to explain whether using feedback in an e-learning environment affects students’ behaviors to be competitive or cooperative (sharing their experience). The researchers used quantitative case study approach in their investigation. Data were collected by using a questionnaire that measured competition and experience sharing. The study concluded that using feedback in an e-learning environment affects the students’ behaviours to be more competitive than sharing their experiences cooperatively. The researchers recommended practicing different types of instructional strategies based on individuals and competitive environments.
