Design of microstrip antenna with broader bandwidth and beam

Design of a novel microstrip antenna with super broadband and broader beams is presented. The structure with multiple layers and parasitic element as well as coupled slot is used to achieve broadband, while multiple modes are excited to obtain broader beams. Simulations are given to verify the present design.
