STUDY ON MODEL AND ALGORITHM OF PRE-DISPATCH SCHEDULE IN POWER GENERATION MARKET

Considering the practical condition in China, a model of pre dispatch schedule based on optimal power flow (OPF) is proposed, whose target is to minimize the market purchasing cost (MPC) in the whole pre dispatch period. Further, according to the characteristics of pre dispatch schedule, the target of the model is simplified. The process of scheduling is converted to the minimization of market clearing price (MCP) in every time section, and a three step algorithm of pre dispatch schedule is designed, which deals with the optimal problem in the period of pre schedule dispatch with static planning method. It solves the problem urint combination with priority method, resolving problem of OPF with modified Powell method. An example of pre dispatch schedule is calculated using NETOMAC. The results show that the MCP computed by this model and algorithm can follow the tracks of the load of system, and this pre dispatch schedule model and algorithm possess the characteristics of low complexity and good optimum results.
