A method for decoding a video signal is provided to efficiently decode and encode the video signal by defining an inter-view synthesis prediction identifier indicating whether to acquire a picture of a virtual view point. A view identifier indicating a view point of a picture is acquired from a video signal(S310). Information about a current picture and information about a picture located in another view point are acquired by using the view identifier(S320). The video signal is detected by using the information of the picture located in the another view point(S330). The view identifier is acquired from a header region of the video signal.
