Direct domain decomposition for on-board spacecraft antennas based on spherical ports

A direct domain decomposition method based on the finite element method and spherical and hemispherical ports is introduced. This method has been successfully applied to analyze on-board spacecraft antennas, making them possible to be designed taking into account the fuselage.
