Inheritance reformation and development——The investigation and experimentation of traditional speciality

This article gives a general idea of the transformation of speciality setup in Optical Engineering Department in the last fifty years. According to the current status and future developing trends of Optical Engineering speciality and optical application in industry, we bring forward a conception for the reforms that with the inherence of our strength in Optics the traditional speciality should be advanced generally . We also introduce some methods in the realization of our conception.
