Capability Index of Earth Observation Satellite System and Its Application in Simulation

Since EOSS(Earth Observation Satellite System) confronts so much task pressure with different intensities,it is insufficient to use just static technical indices for evaluating the System's capability.In order to evaluate the performance and optimize the top-layer design of EOSS,this paper proposes an index system,and provides the definitions and computing method for the indices.Through simulations on the EOSS,the validity of these indices is proved,especially in the aspect of optimizing the top-layer design plan for the System,such as deciding the number of satellites of the System.The index system also has some theoretical and practical significance to long period construction of satellite system in China.
