Discipline focused non-major computer science courses

The non-major course in computer science has changed dramatically over the years. Furman University developed and implemented an approach for the nonmajor course to offer sections that are restricted to specific majors. This paper describes how these sections are organized and evaluates the advantages and disadvantages to this approach.
