Hydrological information coupling for irrigation district based on numerical simulation of open channel unsteady flows

For expanding the spatial-temporal coverage capacity of irrigation hydrological information real-time monitoring system and enhancing system detective ability the model simulating the flow in irrigation canal is adopted. The correlation among scattered real-time monitoring data by superposing the "interference flow" on the input variables in the system are established. At the same time, the system maintains the necessary information redundancy by estimating the uncertainty of water interference based on fuzzy characteristics of irrigation water. On this basis the information fusion theory and numerical fitting methods are further applied to realize water information fusion. This method not only has applicative effectiveness of tracking real-time simulation system, but also overcomes the restrictions for complex systems of information fusion technology. It proposes a universal technical approach for the application of information fusion theory in many other application areas.
