Application of Experimental Modal Testing for Estimating Dynamic Properties of Structural Components

Experimental modal testing is used in relation to solving problems in railway engineering such as estimating dynamic properties of structural components. Modal testing has proven to be an effective and non-destructive test method for estimation of the dynamic stiffness and damping constant of the railway track component.
