Recent advances in the determination of phosphate in fertilizers

Existing statutory methods for the determination of phosphate in fertilizers are discussed and their defects pointed out. Four recent methods which have been in constant use are described in detail and the standard deviations indicated. The respective advantages of these methods in the laboratory and their comparative costs per determination are discussed. These methods are recommended for consideration as standard methods.
