s31: THE SEAMLESS s21 SWITCHED-CURRENT CELL

A new switched-current memory cell, called S31, is presentied. It operates with the same two-step principle of earlier S’I but produces a virtual earth input voltage on both coarse and fine sampling phases. Simulated performance at 80MS/s gives a precision which will allow filters with perhaps an order of magnitude higher Q-factor and converters with 2-3 bits higher resolution than has been possible hitherto with 5’1.
