Intra-field de-interlacing with advanced up-scaling methods

Recently, various advanced methods for up- scaling of standard material to High Definition Television (HDTV) have been proposed. In this paper, the translation of these up-scaling techniques for application in intra-field de- interlacing has been investigated. In the evaluation, the proposed methods and the more common edge adaptive de- interlacing techniques are compared.
