Status Quo and Trend of Research and Simulation on Human-gait

Gait-related researches and simulations on electromyography, finite element method and analysis, rigid multibody and inverse dynamics method, neuromusculoskeletal and musculoskeletal model in recent years were summarized. Research-deficiencies and research-difficulties were analyzed, including gait-parameters-measurements of living human-body, and dynamics of flexible multibody systems not applied. Future-enhancements were pointed out, including significant muscles, bones and ligaments of body regarded as parts in flexible multibody system, constitutive relations of body-organism and finite element methods improved, and functional clothing, footwear, stocking/sock designed for health and common persons using multisubjects based on gait-biomechanics.
