A broadband waveguide-based power divider in W-band

In this paper, a new broadband waveguide-based power divider has been presented in W-band. With a symmetric waveguide-based structure, this proposed divider has properties of low loss, wide band, symmetrically power dividing, good output isolation and good heat dissipation. In the whole W-band (75110GHz), the 3D EM simulation results show that, the return loss is less than -17dB; between the outputs, the magnitude difference is less than 0.05dB, while the phase difference less than 0.45 degree; and the isolation between the outputs is more than 11dB and the maximum isolation, 15.5dB, is occurred at 90GHz. The new waveguide divider will be widely used in W-band wideband high power combing systems.
