A Research on Interactive Advertisements in Public Area

The usage of advertisement in public area is an interesting topic. How to effectively use the space of the area and enhance the value of advertisement is very important and should be discussed in detail. The mass transportation system in public area play an important role in the marketing and advertising recently because there are large number of passengers, transportation vehicles and related stations. In this paper, we propose a framework for interactive advertising. In this framework, a management platform is constructed to maintain the GPS information of all elements in the system and detect the interactive advertising event. 3 basic elements are considered in the framework including the traffic station, the vehicles in the transportation system and the passengers. The interactive advertisement will be triggered based on the corresponding location between the basic elements and will be delivered to the corresponding response elements based on the information recorded in the trigger element.
