Lattice structures for design of three-channel linear-phase perfect-reconstruction FIR QMF banks

The authors present a perfect-reconstruction FIR (finite impulse response) linear-phase lattice structure for the three-channel QMF (quadrature mirror filter) bank. Both the analysis and the synthesis filters are linear-phase. To speed up the design time, the pairwise mirror-image condition is imposed on the resulting lattice structure. A design example is presented, and the complexity of the analysis bank is discussed.<<ETX>>
