This paper describes the static and dynamic behaviour of a tooling system newly developed, which is in the form of boring bar and using the curvic coupling. The experimental results obtained were compared with those of ISO 7/24 taper connection, and through this work, the effects of the geometrical feature of the coupling, axial pre-load, lubricant and diameter of the draw bolt on the static and dynamic characteristics were investigated in the case of the loading condition of the bending force.
