The invention relates to a communication connection establishing method and apparatus, and a mobile terminal. The communication connection establishing method is applied to a near-distance communication system comprising an audio frequency channel and a radio frequency channel. The audio frequency channel is used for controlling the communication distance of radio frequency communication. The radio frequency channel is used for data exchange. The communication connection establishing method comprises: detecting audio signal intensity from a target mobile terminal, and if the audio signal intensity being greater than a preset audio frequency receiving threshold, receiving and storing audio signal information; determining whether the audio signal intensity is greater than a preset starting transmission threshold, the starting transmission threshold being greater than or equal to the audio frequency receiving threshold; and if the received audio signal intensity is greater than the starting transmission threshold, starting the radio frequency channel for data transmission according to the audio signal information. According to the communication connection establishing method and apparatus and the mobile terminal, the starting time of a high-speed channel is shortened, and the user experience is improved.
