Method of performing location update

PURPOSE: A method of performing location updating is provided to efficiently update the location between a femto cell and a macro cell or between femto cells. CONSTITUTION: An MS(Mobile Station) receives a message including a femto base station list from a macro BS(S203). In addition, the MS receives a preamble including an identifier of a first femto base station from a first femto BS in a certain time period(S205). If the ID of the first femto BS is identical to one of the IDs included in the femto BS list information, the MS performs the location updating for the first femto cell BS(S209). The femto BS list information includes the IDs for at least one femto BSs included in the macro BS.
