Ablauforganisation bei Serienproduktion in Fließfertigungssystemen

SummaryMost production planning Software packages rely on the logic of manufacturing resource planning (MRP II). This contribution reveals that MRP II does not satisfy, but is the reason for long lead-times, high work-in-process, and large inventories. The paper reviews hierarchical approaches which dominate the MRP II-logic. Making one step further, the paper also discusses the problem of simultaneous lot sizing and scheduling in the presence of multi-level gozinto-structures and scarce capacities.
