A 2.5 GHz GaAs sample and hold

A GaAs sample and hold circuit developed with a 2.5-GHz sample rate with 30 mW of power dissipation is described. The acquisition time or the time it takes the output to reacquire the input after a hold is 250 ps. Circuit design, fabrication, and test results are described. The sample and hold schematic diagram is shown.<<ETX>>
