Research on Scalability Technology of Routers

According to the requirement of router scalability at present,several kinds of relevant key technologies of router scalability are introduced in detail,including the router switch capacity scalability technology,router switch port rate scalability technology and multi-protocol high speed forwarding scalability technology.Based on a deep analysis on the characteristics of these technologies,some scalability solutions for router switch capacity,switch port number,port rate and multi-protocol high speed forwarding are proposed.
