Method to Measure the Torque of DC Motor in CPM Rehabilitation Apparatus

Being aimed at the problem that the intrinsic mechanical feature of DC motor used in CPM rehabilitation apparatus is so "hard" that it is inapplicable to measure motor's torque T indirectly by use of its mechanical feature curve.This paper presents a method to measure motor's torque indirectly according to the relations between control voltage,armature current and.On the basis of LabVIEW and NI ELVISⅡ+ experimental platform,the feasibility and validity of this method were verified with experimental results.The method has practical significance for improving CPM Rehabilitation Apparatus's safety,simplifying its mechanics design,and decreasing costs.
