Enhanced Difference Alteration with Weighted Averages for Reversible Data Hiding

Reversible data hiding has emerged in recent years, and it has the fundamental requirement of reversibility. For reversible data hiding, secret information is embedded into original image with devised algorithms, and the marked image should be delivered to the decoder without any damage. For decoding, both the embedded secret and original image should be recovered perfectly. With these characteristics, it can be suited for applications such as medical images or military information. There have been a variety of algorithms that can be looked for in literature. With the algorithm proposed in this paper, reversibility can be guaranteed, and performance measures, including image quality, capacity, side information, and implementation issues, reveal that proposed algorithm can be suitable for practical applications.
