The suppliers of multiple renewable resources are the most immediate partners of contractor in the construction supply chain and their capacities will form constraints to project scheduling. Thus, when selecting these partners, the resource-constrained project scheduling problems (RCPSPs) must be taken into account. A mathematical model for selecting these suppliers in construction projects was proposed and the principle of reducing the solution space was discussed. A genetic algorithm was designed to solve the model, wherein the chromosomes were set to represent the partner selections. A parallel scheduling schema was used in the decoding procedure, and the maximal relative cost of transitive predecessors among the activities was considered as its prior rule. In the end, a case study was constructed to evaluate the efficiency of the proposed algorithm. The result showed that the algorithm was effective
