Issues and Services in End-to-end Multipeer Communications

Presently, there is an increasing interest in providing mul-tipoint network services to support new multiuser applications. This approach is generally referred as \multicast" and provides eecient communication by avoiding data ow duplication on the same link between senders and receivers. We are focusing on QoS (Quality of Service) issues for multicasting to provide services like video and audio broadcasts, wide scale information dissemination or CSCW (Computer Supported Col-laborative Work). These applications require guaranteed QoS features, particularly to allow real-time and reliability capabilities.
