An equation for potential evaporation from soil, water, and crop surfaces adaptable to use by remote sensing

Data acquired on four crops growing in three different locations, plus data for a water surface, indicate that a technique we had previously developed for calculating potential evaporation from bare soil surfaces [Idso, et al., 1975] may work equally well for crops and water without modification.
