A Controllable Proxy Digital Signature Scheme Based on Hyper-elliptic Curve Cryptosystem

Most of the known proxy digital signature schemes have the same problems that they cannot provide the overall, complete and reliable control ability on the stretch of proxy digital signature power. In this paper, a new proxy digital signature scheme based on the Hyper-elliptic Curve Cryptosystem (HECC) is presented to solve this problem. It has the ability to provide the overall, reliable control on the use of proxy digital signing power. In addition, it has been applied for the Chinese patent of invention (No. 200510019215.9). Further more, this paper also analyzes the new scheme’s computation complexity and security problem. The new scheme, which is an extension of elliptic curve cryptosystems, is beneficial for the study on the domain of proxy digital signature.
