NUMERICAL ANALYSIS ON SPALLING EFFECTS OF STEEL PLANE UNDER CONTACTING EXPLOSION LOAD

Based on AutoDyn soft,the spalling process of steel plate under contacting explosion load was numerically simulated and compared with tests.The stress wave propagation process and characteristics were discussed,and the spalling mechanism was analyzed.It was pointed out that the spalling effects of steel plate were a damage and energy accumulation process under tensile wave.The calculation shows that charge height,steel thickness and material property are the core factors which influence spalling occurring,developing and failure effects.The test and calculation results provide technical references for the application of the steel plate in protective structures.
