실린더별 공연비 차이를 고려한 광역산소센서의 출력 예측

Multi cylinder SI engine has cylinder by cylinder A/F difference, which is an obstacle for fine A/F control. So presently, the researches for individual cylinder A/F control have been widely proceeded. For individual cylinder A/F control, wide band oxygen sensor must be equipped. But the response time of this sensor is not fast enough to detect individual A/F directly and there is mixing process in exhaust manifold during the arrival of the exhaust gas to the sensor. In this paper, the output signal of this sensor is predicted using the modeling of the sensor, the transfer delay and mixing process of the exhaust gas. The oxygen sensor outputs in case of various individual cylinders A/F ratio were simulated. The results of the simulation using these models show good agreement with experiments. It is expected that this model can be used for individual cylinder A/F control.
