Investigation of band-stop to all pass reconfigurable filter

In this paper an investigation of band-stop to all pass electronically reconfigurable filters that can utilize the same set of coupled resonators and switch the ideal pin diode to change between different modes of operation have been introduced. This filter is designed for this research and its main focus is to investigate, analyze, simulate and discuss on the proposed method using MATLAB®. The theoretical and simulation analysis are proven showing that the stepped impedance dual mode resonator allows the construction of reconfigurable band-stop to all pass filter by incorporating the switching element into the filter topology. The new filter is not limited to future systems but also suitable for the upgrade of existing systems.
