Treatment of Pulps of Monkeys with Vancomycin and Calcium Hydroxide

Surgically exposed, infected permanent teeth of monkeys were capped with four agents. Microscopic study after 30 and 90 days revealed considerable success in teeth treated with a mixture of vancomycin and calcium hydroxide, or with calcium hydroxide and methyl cellulose.
