Advances in loading techniques to design multifrequency monopole antennas

A top-loading technique for monopole antennas which permits us to obtain a multiband performance from a wide set of antenna geometries is presented. Dual-band and a triple-band monopole antenna designs are described in detail, featuring both similar input impedances and radiation pattern across the different bands. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
