The non-equilibrium Green's function (NEGF) formalism: An elementary introduction

The non-equilibrium Green's function (NEGF) formalism provides a sound conceptual basis for the development of quantitative models for quantum transport. The purpose of this talk is to present a simple intuitive discussion of the NEGF equations illustrating the basic physics.
