Maize is a major food crop in Liaoning. The maize cultivation pattern of large ridge double rows mechanized spacing plantation is raised in consideration of the local actuality and agricultural production levels. The yield increase effect of this growth patter is researched. The potential for yield-increasing is discussed in combination with agricultural technology and mechanized cultivation in a bid to boost maize yields and accelerate maize industrialized production in Liaoning province.
