Behavior of plane solar collectors under transient conditions

A simplified model sufficiently precise for most purposes is set up for solar collectors operating under transient conditions, and the equations are solved for a number of types of cases. From these solutions, the responses of solar collectors to a variety of step-changes and pulse-changes of the important parameters are calculated. Results are compared with experimental measurements with good agreement in general.
