Vibration analysis of a turbo-fan aero-engine

This paper discusses the measurement method for a turbo-fan aero-engine vibration that exceeds the acceptance standards and the vibration signal was analyzed detailed using the vibration signal analysis methods,including time domain,frequency domain,and waterfall diagrams analysis methods by Matlab.It is found that the possible causes of the excessive vibration are rubbing and rotor unbalance of abnormal vibration characteristics.The conclusion should be of some reference value for the fault diagnosis of the aero-engine vibration.
