ECONOMIC LOAD DISPATCH BASED ON IMPROVED MUTATIVE SCALE CHAOTIC OPTIMIZATION

The theory of chaotic optimization is introduced.By ameliorating the algorithm configuration,the influence of initial states choice of chaotic variables on operating results is decreased in some degree,and both the efficiency and the performance of mutative scale chaos optimization algorithm are improved.Numeric simulation demonstrates the effectiveness of the algorithm.The improved method is applied to economic load dispatch instances as large power system and practical units of power plant,and more optimal results are obtained.Meanwhile,another effective chaotic algorithm is applied to the same problems,and the calculation also proves the effectiveness and practicability of the above algorithm.The method provides a reference orientation for the analysis of chaotic optimization.
