Sherlock: A Tool Towards Computer-Aided Usability Inspection

This paper describes a guideline management system (Sherlock) designed to assist the user interface usability inspection process. The paper presents the tool’s main advantages along with the way it overcomes existing problems in other, relevant tools. Finally, the paper offers an insight on how such a tool can actively support a user-centred design process, as well as an illustrating example of use of the tool.
