A power control system according to the embodiment of the present invention includes a DC power source, a converter which includes a first converter module and a second converter module to receive a DC voltage from the DC power source, a half bridge inverter which receives outputs from the first converter module and the second converter module and outputs a target AC voltage, a first sensor which senses the output voltage of the first converter module, a second sensor which senses the output voltage of the second converter module, and a control unit which controls the converter to equalize a large voltage value and a small voltage value by comparing the output voltage of the first converter module with the output voltage of the second converter module which are sensed by the first sensor and the second sensor, respectively and controls the half bridge inverter to output the target AC voltage.
