Calculation Model for Median Opening Length in Expressway Overhaul Engineering

The traffic management plan of half roadway closed and half roadway opened to traffic is used in expressway overhaul,According to the feature of vehicle track while passing median opening,the calculation model of medial opening length in highway rehabilitation is put forward,and also the recommended length of median opening is given when the limited speed,the width of median and inner lane,cross slope are different.This calculation model is used in the overhaul of Tonghuan-Huangling Expressway,when this model's recommended value is used,it shows that the traffic capacity and safety in overhaul section had obvious improvement.
