Risk factors for laboratory-confirmed household transmission of pandemic H1N1 2009 infection.

Household transmission of the pandemic H1N1 2009 virus infection (pH1N1) frequently occurred in children and adolescents within several days after development of index cases. However, antiviral therapy for index cases did not seem to prevent household transmission of pH1N1.
