We have established a three-dimensional numerical simulation method to simulate the charging process of dust particles in plasma. The method is based on Particle-in-Cell (PIC) technique, which can mesh a plasma region containing particles with arbitrary configuration. The innovative point of our method is that it can be applied to surface-modified dust particles, including electrophilic and dielectric properties modification. In addition, the boundary flow injection conditions in several typical scenarios are also considered. This method realizes a three-dimensional numerical simulation of arbitrary configuration and surface-modified dust particles charging process in plasma.
