Vibration tests on large-scale hydraulic gate of northern Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region

With regard to the vibration of two exit gates of the inverted siphon of a large-scale hydraulic project in northern Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region,a multi-channel underwater vibration test system was established by using the triaxial accelerometer specialized in waterproof, compression and anti-corrosion and the INV303 data acquisition instrument.Through adjusting the gate openings and discharges, the vibrations of gate No.1 under various working conditions and of gate No.2 under large discharges were monitored. The test results indicate that the vibrations of the gates, pier and gate room have close relation with gate openings and discharges. The tiny vibrations of the gates exist for long term. The peak values of the vibration for gate No.1 correspond to the gate openings of 0.220m and 0.310m,and those for gate No.2 under large discharges correspond to the gate openings of 0.310m.The foundation plate has the largest amplitude of vibration. The analytic results are accordant, and the proposed vibration test system is correct and feasible.
