Research on DC magnetic flux controllable reactor

A novel DC magnetic flux controllable reactor can change its inductance according to different AC working states, appropriately by adjusting the power applied on the reactor DC control coils. The unique structure reactor has advantages of simple configuration, less harmonic, relative less response time .It also can run continuously and has larger regulating range, etc. Applying harmonic suppression winding of control side can reduce the harmonic, and the reactor is easier to control. In this paper, the principle and mathematic model of reactor are given; the characteristics of structure and control, the effect of harmonic suppression are also mentioned. And the experimental results are given.
