Application of Safety Margin Method in Subgrade Construction Mornitor

Controlling the orientation of testing value of safety margine can reduce the risk of engineering construction quality.A case study of a highway subgrade compaction is performed.The results of laboratory and in-situ testing are analyzed based on the principle of soil compaction.Comparing nuclear gauge method with sand cone method,the conclusion demonstrated that nuclear gauge could be used in testing subgrade while the nuclear gauge method has a certain positive safety margin.
