The Analysis and Design of a GFRMIS for Forest Bureau on County Level Based on the Integrate GIS

This article mainly focuses on designing and developing the General Forest Resource Management Information System for Forest Bureau on County Level based on the integrate method which employs PowerBuilder as the integration environment and MapInfo to deal with aspects of GIS.At the same time the overall aim and function of the system are analyzed and devised.By employing the powerful DataWindow function,the interconvertibility of the system is greatly improved and the problem of standardizing the data is solved.Additionally,some pivotal technical problems are discussed regarding the integration of the MapInfo and PowerBuilder.In this way,tailored Forest Resource Management Information System for county level can be speedily set up and the interchanging of the data and graph be realized,which will provide a vivid and accurate data as bases for management team to make decisions.
